FAQ - Dinner Bell Support

No Sound when shaking the device

  • Make sure the physical device audio switch is turned ON and the volume is UP
  • Please Note: Touching the screen (bell) will MUTE the sound
  • Exit App From running in Background; For iOS: Double click the home button- Slide Up on Dinner Bell app. Then Restart For Android: Click the Square and slide right on Dinner Bell app, then Restart
  • Delete App and download again; (This will clear saved config data and start the app fresh)
  • If all else fails, Completely turn off your device and restart it.

Bell Clanger Stuck, Not moving

  • Please Note: Touching the screen will stop the clanger from moving and MUTE the sound. Try touching the bell and releasing
  • Exit App From running in Background; For iOS: Double click the home button- Slide Up on Dinner Bell app. Then Restart For Android: Click the Square and slide right on Dinner Bell app, then Restart

Can't Record Custom Sound

  • Please Note: You must give the app access to your microphone for recording.
  • Please Note: You can only record 5 custom sounds, once all slots are filled you must delete one to record again.
